2025 Fenelon Fair Schedule of Events

  FENELON FAIR TO ADD DEMOCROSS EVENT  It'll be double the Motorsport fun at the Fenelon Fair this year with the addition of  "Democross" - a new exciting automobile event on Saturday at 2 PtM.  "Democross" is a Demolition Derby style event where cars compete at their fastest possible  speed around the performance area... at times literally becoming airborn. Democross is  described as a cross between Demolition Derby and Motocross.  The event is run similar to a figure 8 race but this time the cars drive in a circle pattern.  Winning driver in each heat is the first one to complete 15 laps. As the drivers navigate each  lap they must go over two custom built ramps that will literally project the cars into the air. As  well as being a sport that includes more "aggressive" driving than is tolerated on the highway  the real excitement begins when two (or more!!) cars try to go over a ramp at the same time.  The event is open to licensed (Gl or better) drivers 18 years of age and over driving any 1980  or newer two wheel drive passenger car, sub compact SUV or l/qtruck with a 4 or 6 cylinder  engine with a wheel base of 113 inches or less. Similar to regular Demolition Derby events  cars must be built according to the Democross rules which can be seen in detail on the web  site at ontariodemoderby,com  ln addition to the excitement of watching the event spectators can enter to win a chance to  actually drive a car in the event which will be prepared in advance by the Ontario Demolition  Derby staff.  "Democross" which will take place at 2:00 PIII on Saturday July 19th at the Fenelon Fair is a  completely separate event from the regular Demolition Derby which will take place as usual  Saturday night at 7 PM. Both events will be produced and officiated by Ontario Demolition  Derby.  Again this year all those 13 years and under attending the Fair on Friday night or Saturday  will be given a ballot to enter a free draw (which will take place Saturday night at  approximately 8 PM) where sorneone will win a BMX bike supplied by Grimsby Tire in  Bobcaygeon.  Fenelon Fair will take place July 18, 19 & 20 in Fenelon Falls.
